Waterfront Marina

A marina preparing for a public event needed visuals that captured the whole property, from the docks and open water to the green spaces and event areas, in a way ground-level photos never could.

Challenge

Marinas are hard to photograph from the ground. A single shot can’t show the layout of the docks, the open water and the event spaces together, and seasonal grass and weather can make a beautiful property look tired.

Solution

We captured the property from the air with our drone, then retouched the aerial images to bring the lawns and park areas back to life. We worked through rounds of client feedback to keep the result true to life, toning the greens down until they matched the natural grass in the background, so the photos look polished without looking fake. The final images were designed into visuals for the marina’s event marketing.

Results

The marina now has aerial images that show the entire property at its best, ready to promote events, attract boaters and give guests a clear picture of the venue before they arrive.
